The Quick Way to Creating an Adwords
Account
Welcome To The Search Era
If you are quick on your feet, for the past 10 or more years
the Internet has been growing and expanding at a rate faster
than the typical human can perceive. Because of its vast
potential, people are using the Internet to do things such as
searching for health tips, researching topics for homework, and
even purchasing products and services. For this latter portion,
this is where you come in if you are a website owner and sell
products or services. And if this is true, then you most likely
also have heard of Google Adwords and other similar PPC
advertising programs. In this article, we will go through the
simple steps of signing up and creating an Adwords account at
Google.
Don't Miss Out On The
Ride...
The first thing that you need to do is to go to the Adwords
website at http://adwords.google.com. Simply sign up as a new
member, and choose the starter edition first. You can easily
update your edition to the standard version once you become
more familiar with how the program works and how you can
generate profits using it. For the location, simply select your
desired countries and territories that you would like your ads
to be displayed at. For example if you are marketing products
not only to the United States in America, but also to countries
in Europe such as France, United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy,
then simply add those to your list. To filter further down in
the location category, you can also select regions and cities.
For example, you can select Paris, Milan, and West Berlin.
The Quick Guide To getting
Started
The next quick thing that you can do is to customize your
ads. If you are selling racecars, for example, then you need to
create a few basic advertisements that center and focus on your
racecars. A typical advertisement would look something like
this:
RaceCars For Sale
Large Inventory of Antique RaceCars
Fast shipping, 24/7 Customer Service
http://www.racecarsinamericausa.com
You can also do a quick search on Google for any search
term, and look at the site and the top portion of the search
engine results pages -- you will notice that there are many
sponsored ads that follow the format as the example above.
After you create a few of your advertisements, the next step
is to compile a list of keywords that are specific to your
product or service. Some sample keywords for racecars, would be
"antique racecars, red racecars, racecar toys, would in
racecars, etc."
Then you will have to consider what your average daily
spending account is. If you are not willing to spend more than
$10 a day advertising, for example, then you will set this
limit to be $10. When it comes to bidding for the specific
keywords however, you'll have to look closely and do some
research on how much you want to bid for each keyword. For
example if there is a lot of competition or the keyword
"antique racecars," then you may not want to spend a dollar or
more per click. However, if there is not much competition, you
can easily bid just $.10 or $.15, and have very good
advertising placement in search engine results pages.
In essence, that is the quick way to creating an Adwords
account to jumpstart your advertising for your Internet
business. Always remember that when it comes to generating
sales and converting customers, testing is critical in all
stages. If you're looking for more information on Google
